Deadlines & Dramatics

Well as I expected I failed my mission to publish on time. However I've had a pretty interesting week by my standards, and it seems set to stay that week for a while...

Monday

After work I met with a friend and someone we both know to sort out a few issues I had with that person. Thankfully we managed to complete this exchange with minimal confrontation, no tears or dramatics and it wound up being for the most part fairly enjoyable. I think it definitely helped that our mutual friend was there, because if she hadn't been there I wouldn't have even wanted to speak to the other girl. I'm still not happy with her, and don't really believe her explanation for the events that led to this but I'm not going to be petty and make more problems for everyone. I just wish she hadn't said she still considers me a friend. Because I certainly don't think of her as one anymore. Too much has happened and so much has come out about her that still irks me... 

But on a happier note, I got to hang out with the other friend after on our walk home. (we live in the same area of town)

Tuesday

Well that was mostly work, although I picked up my engagement ring from the jewellers... which is now too big. Obviously my finger was still swollen when I went to get sized >.> the good news was that it only cost $50 to fix, and although a size too big is actually WEARABLE NOW!! I really should have gotten a photo of it when it was broken, but I just felt sick looking at it.

Also I got invited to a "tickle party" on Friday... that should be fun!!

Wednesday

Today has been the bearer of good news. One of my close friends who is currently on student exchange to Argentina (and not liking it) is coming home early so he'll be here within the next ten days! I'm so excited, when I saw the message saying he was coming home I almost screamed/cried. I can't wait to see him ^^

There's not much else to say really. I probably wont be able to post on Friday either (I'll be out) but by Saturday afternoon I'll have more to say ^^;; I have devious plans to recreate something one of my friends did about a week or so ago... shan't say much more but I hope there will be less dramatics and stupidity in the aftermath!!
