The "interesting bits" were when at work I managed to get both the AMBULANCE and FIRE BRIGADE to come assist me at work... no I didn't set the restaurant on fire, have anything fall on me and trap me or even burn myself............ I dislocated my ring finger when the diamond on my engagement ring caught on the lip under a shelf and in the process managed to pull my own body weight in the wrong direction...complicated but makes sense when "demonstrated"... anyway... by the time I got out the back (because stupidly I tired to continue serving the customer) I was close to tears it hurt so much... then when I realised my finger had swollen so much I couldn't remove my ring to improve circulation I panicked... Of course my fiancee just happened to be there too and tried to help me get the swelling down with ice but by this time it was so swollen it just wouldn't come off... Then a few other friends from work came over and took me off to the girls changing room to be a tad more aggressive in getting it off...but it wouldn't work. So we had to call the ambulance, they came and took me to the crew room where I got the ring cut off which really hurt because they had to shove a thin piece of metal underneath so the didn't cut me as well as the ring, as well as the obvious fact... THEY CUT MY RING!! T_T I went home early that day I was just so upset and in pain... then got to make up the hours the next day. Weirdly enough the same time the day after I hurt myself I was serving a woman who later identified herself as "Head Office" and that she'd done a secret shopper test on me, which I passed everything on. I wonder how different that would have been had she come twenty four hours before hand... I'm certain I swore then it happened, albeit under my breath. Anyway the ring is at the jewellers at the moment, most likely fixed and waiting. I was meant to pick it up on Friday but had to work and Andrew was too busy with family dramas... so I'll get it Monday.
So about the mundane parts, as usual Teresa and I have been making infrequent trips into town to top up our junk food stashes. Generally to Nerd Central, the only place on the coast I know of where you can get cherry coke, pop tarts and other nice foods...like Hershey's Kisses ♥
They also have lots of collectibles and comics. No manga though...you have to ask for them to order it specifically which OK but it's quicker and cheaper if you have your own Internet connection to order it yourself. Which reminds me I got DeathNote volume 5 with the Misa figurine the other day ^o^

Also I made miso for breakfast today, which I think I might do more often it was that damn good...
Anyway I'm thinking I'm going to update this only on certain days and keep to that routine. It seems to work well for my friend, since she always makes a point of saying something on those days. it's good because I always know when I can expect to see blogs from her. Anyways I suppose I shall update Mondays and Fridays like her since Monday I can talk about my weekend and plans for the week, and Fridays as an updater? We'll see ^^

Wow, that really sucks that you can only get things like Poptarts and things at ONE PLACE. . . they're every where here. You know, I actually tried Poptarts the way so they're not so dry. And I still like toaster strudels better.
Hopefully your ring will be good as new on Monday~!
And. . .Mondays and Fridays are the BEST days to update a blog if you're not doing it every day. I find I more or less always have something to say, and it's not THAT huge of a commitment.
Good luck.
