Last night a few friends from work and I went to Rocktober (a Make a Wish charity fundraiser) to basically have some fun and unwind from working at stinky McDonald's all week. It was a pretty fun night and I for the most part enjoyed myself a lot. (hence the cheesy grin in the photo)
It started out pretty average, the DJ playing oldies music, everyone stocking up from the bar and conversing. Then Jess and I decided to go outside and dance (so we didn't have to look silly on the dance floor...because dancing out side make so much more sense lol) but the BOYS FOLLOWED US OUT!~ D: so we decided to run away around the other side of the building...however when I got there I was facing a kitchen window and since the lights were on and it was dark out I could see exactly what was in there............ scary stuff. Two old REALLY UGLY men in their underwear putting on women's stockings and wearing leather. Um...I'm open minded but that caught me off guard so much I screamed. Then promptly ran away.
I later found out they were dressing as transvestite bikers for the show... urgh... They were horrible. Not only did they constantly make stabs at transvestites but they also made fun of biker culture in front of an audience that was probably TWENTY FIVE PERCENT BIKER OMG THEY SUCKED!!! No one thought they funny and all laughs at our table at least were just to be polite... the only good thing I can say was that when the "biker bitch" changed into an Elvis costume and they changed singers (the "pregnant" one can't sing for shit) it improved slightly... the guitarist and drummers were great however Andrew and I agree the sound person should have been shot. There was so much feedback I swear I nearly got ringing in my ears. Anyway enough negativity!!
I had the yummiest drinks!

Not the best photo but it was mint green and tasted like a mint milkshake. Sooooo goooood.
(Creme de menth + milk) Now I'm tempted to buy a bottle at the bottle-o (I have no idea why Australians call the bottle shop a bottle-o...we just do btw link is my fav ^^ I never get asked for ID there anymore and they usually have great specials)

Um yeah so anyways... over all we did all have fun. I got to hang out with people I normally don't see outside work e.g. Nick, Jenny, Anita and Veronica. Kinda annoyed Andrew and I didn't have dinner before we left though...it resulted in a late night Naraku run with Jess, Mum, Andrew and I. Was cool though, Andy and I just watched T3 and ate dinner then crashed. For a 9am start YUCK!
As for new product I found a makeup I LOVE! One of my friends pretty much swears by it. And I think I'm close to too...

It's so yummy... I mean it does THIS to me... I mean omg. Btw that first pic is on a dog day anyway so yeah...plus I didn't smile so... I'm pretty...honest. :*(
Hmm as for Naraku I had my first day where I wanted to walk out the other night... some people are rude and horrible and should be dipped toes first into the fry vat then when they can't walk thrown on the grill... but we're not gonna do this lest we hurt the grill and the vats feelings. Plus it'll be too much damn paper paper work and too hard to find a bullshit excuse to tell the OHS peoples...
Anyway I shall go to bed nao and Andrew is getting cranky since he has a 6:30am start tomorrow.......
