OMG OBSESSION

I wouldn't classify myself as a hardcore mmorpg gamer, but I do play, and I know what I do and don't like. Recently I signed up for Wonderland Online which has so far lived up to what I would expect of a game of this calibre. With options to customise the appearance of your character so you're not just another standard sprite straight up and the option to have NPC "pets" and even your own home, this appeals both with features and graphics. More importantly is the battle system, which is reminiscent of Final Fantasy. As an ex-Endless Online player it's so refreshing to have more options than just bashing the ctrl key or pressing F2 and clicking the monster I'm hunting. Mind you I do play EOR still occasionally, but that's more for personal reasons than actual game play.

Anyway here are a few screenshots.

There is one thing that bugs me about his so far though... it's rather crowded in major towns, then again what can you really expect??

Anyway I'll list pros and cons

Pros

• Cute sprites
• Great battle system (even with option for "auto" so you can multitask somewhat, you have to be watching to actually activate it in battle however)
• own area e.g. home/tent to retire to when you want to get away from other players 
• Option to have pets! 
• As well as the usual guilds and anything else you would expect of a mmorpg

Cons

• Busy towns
• No one I know plays...

So anyway about my lack of updates last week... *cough* um I had a few "issues" with windows movie maker when I was trying to make a video of where I live and got so angry with the entire project I avoided my blog for a while... I also got stood up by a friend so that didn't improve matters much either... Anyway tomorrow evening I'll elaborate more and fill you in on what happened tomorrow...or today as it will be at that time. GAH you know when simple things like that confuse you a bit. So sleep I shall.
